Vickie Dicarlo (Vickie)

Vickie started yoga in her early 20s, after realizing just how important this practice was to strengthen and stretch not only the body, but the mind. Since starting yoga, Vickie has been working diligently to develop her practice. She appreciates how yoga challenges you to hold postures and find stillness with breath, honoring both body and mind. She believes that stepping on your yoga mat every day provides a form of moving meditation ands helps people to be the absolute best versions of themselves.

Through yoga, Vickie has been able to learn the true benefits of mindfulness and the brain-body connection. As a result, she was inspired to dive deeper into this practice in order to share the gifts of yoga with others. One year after moving to Oahu, Hawaii from California, Vickie received her 200 Hour RYT. She has been teaching ever since and has enjoyed the every step of the journey along the way.

Her intention is to encourage creative movement through yoga and help students find a connection to their own personal practices. Her goal is to help others fall in love with yoga and develop a healthier lifestyle overall. In her free time, you’ll find Vickie hanging with her dog, hiking the mountains of Hawaii, cooking, crafting, playing at the beach or planning her next trip.
