Sarah Lavallee ( Sarah L)
Sarah Lavallee’s yoga practice began in 2003 while living and teaching in a Buddhist monastery in Thailand. It was here that she first learned to be still and listen to herself. Her yoga practice has grown from these roots of breathing and meditation. She finds that moving in yoga and meditation provide the same sense of connection and centeredness.
Her poses come from her lifelong passion for running. She uses yoga to complement her running warm up and cool down, and finds it a good tool for muscle balance, and injury prevention. On any given day you can find her running on one the beautiful trails in Hawaii, starting or finishing with a gentle yoga practice in nature.
Yoga has been a powerful tool for her to help deal with negative messages the busy mind can feed and she enjoys sharing what she has learned with others.
Sarah’s classes pull from her personal experiences with each pose and focus on sending a loving breath into different areas of the body. She uses music to help guide you inward and stir the motivation to go deeper on your personal journey.
